Who is behind the Phare?
Hi, I’m Farid.
I’m neither a banker nor born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I come from a modest background where I was taught to work hard to earn a living, but never to make my money work to gain my freedom.
For a long time, I followed the classic path: work, salary, bills. Until the day I realized that this system was designed to keep us in an endless loop. I understood that if I did nothing, I would spend my life serving the interests of others (the state, an employer, the bank) rather than my own.
I decided to say stop. I decided to Investir pour Partir.
Why “Investir pour Partir”?
The name is not accidental. “Partir” doesn’t necessarily mean dropping everything to go to a deserted island (though!).
It’s about leaving constraint behind. It’s reaching that tipping point where you no longer work out of necessity, but by choice. It’s taking back control of your time, the only resource you can’t earn.
The Mission of the Phare
When you’re starting out in investing, it’s a jungle. The terms are complicated, scams are everywhere, and you’re afraid of making mistakes. You’re navigating in the fog.
I created this blog to be a Phare. I’m not here to sell you dreams or miracle methods. I’m not a suit-and-tie financial advisor.
I’m a traveler, just a little further along the path. My goal is simple:
- Document my journey with full transparency (my successes, but also my mistakes so you don’t make them).
- Demystify investing: Stock market, Crowdfunding, fractional real estate (RealT)… I want to make these tools accessible to everyone, no matter your starting point.
- Bring together a community: Because you may move faster alone, but you go further (and it’s more fun) together.
